Meet the Team: Aumi Hall, Client Service Associate

In this week’s ‘Meet the Team,’ we invite you to get to know an amazing member of the Clarity Wealth team: Aumi Hall, Client Service Associate.

Meet Aumi

As a third generation Oregonian, Aumi is proud to call the beautiful city of Corvallis her home. As an active member of the community, Aumi enjoys a deep connection to both Corvallis and its surrounding landscape.

When not in the office, you can catch Aumi adventuring in the outdoors with her family. She enjoys snowboarding, surfing, camping, motorcycle riding, golfing and spending time with friends and family. She also puts her green thumb to use through gardening

As a member of the Clarity team, Aumi gets the chance to meet and connect with clients, ensuring they have a smooth and positive experience each and every day.

Hi Aumi! What do you do here at Clarity Wealth?

Here at Clarity, I do all kinds of things related to client services: keeping people’s accounts updated, making sure paperwork is signed, client correspondence, scheduling, answering questions, directing people to the right place and getting advisors what they need.

I’m also a notary, so if anyone needs anything notarized, I can do that as well!

What initially drew you to this job?

I stayed home with both of my kids, and as they’ve gotten older, I’ve been working in people’s yards doing landscaping. I was kind of looking for a change, because that was hard on my body – and I’ve also recently become interested in investing and was curious about financial planning.

A friend of mine introduced me to Kay Dee, and she was looking for help and it just seemed like a perfect fit. And here I am!

I love being able to help facilitate clients in feeling more secure in their finances and their lifestyle, and where they’re at now and where they want to go in the future. I love hearing people’s stories and seeing what they’ve done throughout their lives. I feel like I get to be a small part of that, which is fun.

We’re glad you’re here! What’s your secret talent?

My secret talent is that I’m pretty good at cooking. And I don’t really measure, so it’s just kind of a throw it all together and see what happens!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I tend to mostly be outside with my family. We like to snowboard and surf and motorcycle ride and go camping. And spending time with friends with dinners and stuff like that!

Nice! What’s your favorite band?

My favorite band currently is Dope Lemon.

As a lifelong Oregonian, what season is your favorite?

That’s tough! Both fall and spring are amazing, but I’m going to say spring. It’s just so hopeful and coming out of darkness and flowers and I love that time.

Mountain, ocean or lake?

Luckily, we live somewhere where we get all three, but I’ll go with mountain. I love to snowboard and mountains just offer so much excitement and adventure.

What are you looking forward to most this year, both personally and professionally?

Personally, my daughter just graduated high school and I’m super excited to see her go off to college and see what she chooses to do and how she makes it work. I’m also excited to see my son who’s still in high school, watching him find his way and figure out who he is and navigating high school is really cool, too.

Professionally, I am just super excited to learn more about financial planning and this place and how it works and just kind of dig into some more of the details.
