The Clarity Difference: Learn What Sets Us Apart from Other Financial Advisors

To understand what makes Clarity Wealth Development different, it may be helpful first to explain how we got here.

Our Founder, Kay Dee Cole, spent many years working for brokerage firms where she was told that people wouldn’t pay for financial planning – but she suspected that wasn’t true. She felt called to help people gain financial clarity and confidence by being their lifelong partner and guide.

Since opening our doors in 2010, Clarity’s team has proudly maintained that mission by helping clients from all walks of life experience what it’s like to live with the peace of mind that comes from knowing a solid financial plan supports your life.

Before becoming clients, people often ask us to explain what differentiates us from other advisors they’ve chatted with. Over the years, we’ve identified and amplified the aspects of our firm that make us stand out from the crowd as effective partners for our clients.

What Makes Clarity Wealth Development Different?

We’ll give you three reasons. Some may feel more unique than others, but these differentiating factors combine to create a financial firm all its own.

1. We help bring clarity, which enables you to build confidence

Tackling financial problems can often leave people feeling lost. But it doesn’t have to. Creative, effective solutions don’t have to be complex to work.

Our goal is to bring you more clarity and confidence, and we know that can’t happen if things feel complicated or opaque. In fact, the simpler, the better. We always strive to keep our solutions simple and transparent so you are never left out of the conversation or confused about what’s happening in your financial life.

2. Proud to be women-owned

Nothing against male advisors – they can be great at what they do!

But being led by women gives us a unique perspective that allows us to lead with understanding, empathy, experience, and a never-ending commitment to excellence.

3. Our focus is your goals, not your money

Let’s face it: Money isn’t fun. It’s a tool that can help you live the life you want (and have a lot of fun in the process), but simply building wealth isn’t much of a goal.

That’s why we focus on what matters most to you – building the future you want, providing for and protecting your family, building a legacy you can be proud of and much more.

Of course, there are other reasons we think our team could be a good fit for you. I mean, have you met us? We’re a pretty friendly bunch! 😀

Work with Clarity Wealth Development

And of course there are the standard (kind of boring) things that lots of advisors offer:

    1. We’re fiduciaries: That’s a fancy way of saying we’re legally required to act in your best interest when we make recommendations – regardless of how it impacts our finances.
  • We’re fee-only: That means the only money we make comes from our clients’ fees – no commissions – which helps avoid any conflict of interest.
  • We are Certified Financial Planners™ (CFP®): You don’t have to have any particular degree to be a financial advisor, but we consider the CFP® designation the next best thing. Earning it required us to complete thousands of hours of experience and multiple college-level courses. And we must continue to learn to keep the CFP® designation current.

Choosing a financial advisor can be a long, arduous process – you don’t want to have to do it twice. We understand the importance of finding the right financial partner.

From our high-touch communication style to our goal-focused planning approach, we’re here to meet you where you are today and move with you on the journey ahead.
