Mother’s Day is one of the top holidays Americans spend the most money on – but where does it fall in the top five?

According to the National Retail Foundation, Mother’s Day comes in second, right after Christmas. Consumers allegedly plan to spend more than $275 on average celebrating Mother’s Day this year, up from $245 last year. In total, the NRF says Americans will spend nearly $36 billion total celebrating the important ladies of their lives!
